You’ll see artifacts from local idled mines, including a mine cart from the Quincey Mine, various photographs of the Ropes Gold Mine during its operation, and core samples. The displays act as a tribute and catalog of area history, and a fascinating teaching tool.
Upon completion of the tour, ‘Miners’ receive a free hat to commemorate the experience, and can visit our Rock Room for gifts to keep or share.
